Grandma Lupe’s Turkey Stuffing

Recreate the famous Grandma Lupe’s Turkey Stuffing using our Electric Skillet.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Pound of sage sausage

  • 1 Pound of regular sausage

  • 1 Yam

  • 1 Onion

  • 4 stocks of celery

  • 1 Apple

  • Stuffing mixture

  • 3 Quarters of slivered almonds

  • 1/2 Chicken broth

 

Steps For Grandma Lupe’s Turkey Stuffing Using the Electric Skillet:

  1. Prep vegetables, shred one yam, a whole onion, four stocks of celery and an apple.

  2. Next, preheat skillet to 350 degrees and begin prepping meat. To prep meat, take 1 pound of sage sausage, and one pound of regular sausage and brown that up. Once that is brown, take your vegetables and incorporate them together and let them sauté.

  3. Once the vegetables and meat are cooked, add the stuffing mixture of your choice, and add three quarters of a cup of slivered almonds all around. Make sure that you don’t stir nor fold just yet. Turn the heat down to 275 degrees’ let it sit there for about 10 minutes, allowing everything to moisten.

  4. After it has sat there for 10 minutes, add half a cup of chicken broth and fold and stir to your liking. Place in pan or preferred serving dish and enjoy!
